In its 26th year, the Susan Alberti Charitable Foundation Signature Ball is one of the oldest and arguably the most prestigious event of its kind in the country.
The event was founded by Susan Alberti AO Hon LLD to support fundraising efforts for Australian medical research, namely progress towards finding a cure for type 1 (juvenile) diabetes. Due to the Foundation's efforts, almost $5 million has been raised from this event and donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) which funds Australia's best and most promising diabetes research.
